What is LogoTap™?
LogoTap utilizes NFC technology to transform any logo decoration into an interactive tool, allowing users to simply tap the logo (hence the name) with their smartphones and instantaneously get customized info delivered to their devices.
What kind of info can be sent via LogoTap?
Basically whatever you or your customer would like the users to receive when they tap the logo. The chip has a capacity of well under 1KB, so most likely the data transmitted will be textual. But that text can be a URL, so users can be directed to any webpage, video, or file as long as it’s hosted online.
Do I need to program or set up LogoTap?
No, it will be ready to go right out of the box. Simply let Fossa know the link you would like the logo to point to, and we will do the rest!
Is LogoTap applicable to all decoration types, locations?
LogoTap can be applied to embroidery, heat transfer, laser, or gloss laser decorations, and in general, all locations. The chip is installed directly behind the center portion of the logo and heat sealed in place. So as long as the area behind the decoration is accessible, it is possible to add LogoTap.
Is LogoTap waterproof and machine washable?
Yes, LogoTap is totally waterproof, safe for washer and dryer.
Is LogoTap safe?
LogoTap simply sends a URL to user’s device, for the user to utilize/interact with that info however he/she likes. It does not receive any info whatsoever of the tapper’s device. During the programming of the LogoTap chip, we can lock it so that it cannot be erased or re-written once programmed. By default we currently leave the chips unlocked in case user would like to modify, but we can easily lock the chips during production at buyer’s request.
